FROM BLACK: INT. FLAT - KITCHEN - MORNING GUY(late 20s) wagging his finger humming a song on the radio, in a positive mood he smiles while making breakfast. ROBIN(39) staggers in holding her pregnant stomach. ROBIN Errrr, babe... I think my water broke. GUY freezes, smile turns into frown and his eye open wide. ROBIN staggers across the room, grabs GUYs hand and looks him dead in the eyes. ROBIN Snap out of it, we need to go. ROBIN pulls GUY along with her, in his frozen state. INT. FLAT - HALLWAY ROBIN drags GUY through the hallway, picks up his and her shoes and jackets. They proceed out the front door. ROBIN Cmon The door slams and BEN (9 year old son of ROBIN) steps out of his bedroom yawning. BEN Did someone leave? BEN re-enters his room. CUT TO: INT. ELEVATOR LOUNGE MUSIC. GUY blank glare continues. ROBIN ponders waiting for the lift to hit the ground floor. Door opens ROBIN drags GUY along by his coat.

EXT. PAVEMENT Exiting the apartment building onto the pavement. ROBIN attempt to open the door to GUYs car only to find that its lock. ROBIN (SOFTLY SPOKEN) Shit She quickly checks her bag and GUYs pocket. With no luck she turns back heading upstairs to the FLAT, leaving GUY outside. ROBIN (CONTD) Dont- move. INT. ELEVATOR Eager ROBIN waits for the lift to get to her floor. INT. FLAT The front door opens, ROBIN collects the keys from the living room table and leaves again. BEN, excited by the sound of the door calls out. BEN Mum?(disappointed) Guy? CUT TO: INT. INSIDE ELEVATOR Extremely eager ROBIN waits for the lift to get to the ground floor. The door slides open, she steps out and is hit with a contraction slowing her down for a moment. ROBIN Gotta keep moving, not having another one in a phone booth.

EXT. PAVEMENT Exits the building but GUY isnt where she left him. She look further, to the other side of the road to find GUY still in his dazed state. ROBIN How did he even get over there? INT. GUYS CAR ROBIN sits GUY in the passenger seat and takes the driver seat. She starts the car repetitively but it fails. Drops her head onto the wheel for a few seconds. She spots a taxi in the side mirror dropping a passenger off. EXT. PAVEMENT ROBIN, holding her stomach walks over the taxi driver in his vehicle reBENng a newspaper. Knocks on the window. ROBIN Hey, can you take me and my boyfriend to the nearest hospital. DRIVER (early-20) African, thick accent. DRIVER Errrrr, OK CUT TO: INT. FLAT - KITCHEN The fire alarm goes off. BEN runs in, turns off the stove and dumps the frying pan with GUYs burnt food in the sink. BEN satisfied with a job well done, sits on the sofa to watch television.

INT. TAXI CAB - LATE MORNING Been driving for several minutes. ROBIN notices a building they had passed already. ROBIN Excuse me didnt we already past through here? Driver remains silence. ROBIN Hey, what the hell, I need to go the hospital, Im having a baby. DRIVER Its my first day. ROBIN So what are you saying, you dont now where the hospital is? DRIVER No mam ROBIN O my God!! ROBIN feel a contraction. Breathless ROBIN gives the young driver directions. ROBIN (CONTD) OK. Listen. You know where xxxxx bank is right? DRIVER Yes, yes I know that one. ROBIN Good boy. CUT TO: INT. FLAT Back at the flat, BEN switches on the radio and begins to boping his head. EXT. HOSPITAL ENTRANCE Driver with a NURSE and wheelchair approach the taxi cab. ROBIN steps out and sit in the wheelchair. DRIVER OK. I go now. Dont worry about the money. ROBIN No, grab my boyfriend and follow, now. Driver sobs. INT. HOSPITAL CORRIDORS Nurse pushes ROBIN in a wheelchair and DRIVER holding GUYs hand dragging him behind. INT. HOSPITAL - DELIVERY ROOM They arrive to the delivery room. The NURSE helps ROBIN onto the hospital bed. Doctor walks in. DOCTOR Hello Miss xxxxxx. Ill be delivering your baby. Now lets see how far apart you are. He checks how far apart ROBIN is. He turns round. DOCTOR (CONTD) Nurse, why are there two immigrants in the delivery room holding hands?(CONTINUED)

CONTINUED: The nurse gets cut off before she could speak. DOCTOR (CONTD) Nevermind, someone get immigration on the phone and call security. Driver tries to interrupts but get grabbed by security. ROBIN Wait that ones my boyfriend. DOCTOR Boyfriend, ah, OK he can stay. Nurse sits GUY in a chair by the bed. DOCTOR (CONTD) Now Miss xxxxx lets get this bastard out of you. ROBIN What? DOCTOR & NURSE Push!

CUT TO: INT. HOSPITAL - CORRIDORS Hours have passed. A loud scream from ROBIN causes an elderly patient to fall over. INT. HOSPITAL - DELIVERY ROOM - LATE AFTERNOON DOCTOR Mam, heres your baby boy. ROBIN GUY look. GUY (Groans) DOCTOR Mam, how long has your husband been like this? ROBIN Boyfriend and since I told him my water broken and the baby was coming. (CONTINUED)

INT. FLAT - OUTSIDE HALLWAY - EVENING Front door is wide open. BEN dancing in his underwear to pop music. A stranger walks by the front door. They both pauses and glare at each other for a few seconds. Then the man walks on and BEN continues dancing. FADE OUT.
