    1.0 Welcoming Speech > The Chairperson welcomed all committee members to the 3rd English Panel meeting. 2.0 Conformation of minutes of last meeting > Confirmed by: Cg. Abdullah > Seconded by: Cg. Amrit 3.0 Matters Arising > Matters related to: Article 4.0 (d) Teachers can start with their SBOA and the results can be sent to the head of the committee before the end of Semester 2 test began. 4.0 Topics Of Discussion 4.1 Reports from Inspectorate's inspection ( June 2013) > PK1 remind the teachers to follow-up the weak students. She suggested that teachers can bring their students to the Reading Corner especially during teach-in periods. > Teachers were asked to drill pupils especially their grammar. 4.2 TOV and Headcount in 2013 > The Chairperson asked all English teachers to prepare TOV and Headcount form for Level 2 classes before the second mid-term test . 4.3 Report for Year 1 Linus Programme KELAS ARSENAL CHELSEA MANCHESTER LIVERPOOL JUMLAH MURID 28 27 25 BIL. MENGUASAI 17 14 16

    4.4 PBS Semester 2 > Teachers can refer to the band mapping of the subject if they want to check on which band needed for their students. 4.5 Setting of Test papers for Semester 2 > Drafted test papers need to be prepared in advance so that it can be photostate as soon as possible. > The Chairperson also reminded all the teachers to circulate the test papers to teachers who are teaching the same level before they are sent to the Head of English Department and PK1 for their certification.

    4.6 Cross checking of Exercise Books > Done by all subject teachers. 4.7 Postmorterm of Second Mid term Test > Refer to the Appendix > All the teachers agreed that the students should be given examples of question in Paper 2 as a strategy to improve their weaknesses in writing . 4.8 Selection of 2014 workbooks > PK1 informed the teachers to select the English workbooks for 2014. 5.0 Other Matters ( if any ) > Cg Abdullah suggested the committee to held a writing competition . Meeting adjourned at 2.00 p.m.
