4. Minutes of Last Meeting The minutes of the meeting held on the 8 th April, 2014 were approved. Proposed Roger Clay, Seconded Edgar Candlish.
5. Matters Arising From Previous Meeting
(i) The Chairman gave feedback on progress with the potential to establish a satellite library of Collingham within the Sports and Social Club space. To date he has had 8 volunteers and will call a further meeting to see how it can be moved forward. Action: D Clarke
6. Correspondence
The Clerk informed the meeting that the funding request made under the Village Improvement Scheme for amongst other things a new set of Village signs has been withdrawn due to cut backs by the council.
7. Planning Applications
(i) The application for alterations and extensions to the side and rear of bungalow, Church View Farm, 8 Swinderby Road reviewed at the last meeting was approved by Newark and Sherwood.
(ii) The application for the demolition of existing Industrial Buildings and the erection of 6 dwellings with associated access, Redmay Industrial Estate, Church Lane will be subject to further review by Newark and Sherwood.
8. Any Other Business
(i) The issue of house names versus numbers was raised once again with concern expressed over the ability of the emergency services to find a property, particularly in the dark. The meeting was reminded that this issue was put to the vote previously following the publication of a proposed numbering scheme by the Post Office but was rejected by the parish at the time. The Chairman suggested that if anyone
