Following the disastrous results in the council elections, the Tories are ramping up
their racist anti-immigrant rhetoric. They want to outdo UKIP who has cynically gained
through scapegoating and racism. UKIP blames immigrants and wants to divert attention from
the people who are really to blame bankers, bosses, and the rich.

We reject UKIP lies and say immigrants are not to blame. We support the Stand Up
to UKIP campaign. We also need a fightback against the Tories and the system that
produces lack of affordable housing, low pay and unemployment. We support the unions that
are preparing to strike on 10 July when a million more workers may take action. All the unions
need to fight togetherand fight to win.
