The teacher works with others to create environments that support

individual and collaborative learning, and that encourage positive social
interaction, active engagement in learning, and self-motivation.

Name of Artifact: Classroom Management Philosophy
Date: June 2014
Course: EDUC 240: Intro to Physical and Health Education for Teaching
Brief Description:
The content of this assignment describes how I would like to atmosphere of
my classroom to feel, how I would present my students work, and also how I
would create classroom rules with the students, allowing them to create their own
rules. Creating their own rules will allow them to remember the rules, as well as
cut off their opportunity to argue for another disciplinary action.
Rationale:
To document my understanding of InTASC Standards #3, Learning
Environments, I have selected to include my Classroom Management Philosophy,
because this assignment displays how I will discipline my students, and reward my
students. It gives the audience my basic plan for discipline and managing my
classroom when I begin teaching.
