Literacy: We will be practicing writing

conventions (Finger space between words, correct

punctuation, capital letters for names, places, and
the word I). We will also begin Readers
Workshop.
Math: Addition and Subtraction- Sums to 10,
Decomposing with Number Bonds, and Comparing
Numbers.
Science/Social Studies: Magnets and Magnetic
Force- effects of magnets on objects, how
magnets attract and repel, and common objects
that are attracted to a magnet.
