Treasurer Report Kerry Dienhart
Tailgate we made about $451.50 which is approximately half of last year. We didnt do as well
due to weather related issues that forced us inside.
Kerry volunteered to contact those that have not made payments for band or orchestra. He is still
waiting on an NSF check, otherwise he has no complaints.
Marching Band Updates Tom Landrum
Marching Band competition season is going well.
Marching Band is holding its first Band Alternative Homecoming Activities October 10, 2014. This
was made up so the kids would have a Homecoming, thinking they wouldnt be back from a
competition in time. Should be a fun night for the kids.

the show. He is also using a proposal that Greenwood has to get our Meijer to be a sponsor for our
event.

Suzanne will get with Rodney to talk about what Orchestra will offer during our next Lids event.
Masterworks6 and Willoughby Sprig will be our Feburary 7th event. They will work with our
students on Friday and then the students will perform with them on the 7th.

New Business
Selling ads for our program booklet. We were a little behind getting started and most businesses
had given to Choral booklet. Roger has sold about $7,200. He will continue to work on more ads.
Marsh and Meijer said it would be easier for them to give product vs. money.
Jeff King to contact Rick Patton for an ad as the Official Realtor of ZBOP.
Michelle Teague contacted Tom about ZBOP helping during the October 17th football game with
Operation Football with Dave Calebro. Marsh supplies all of the food. We would need to cook the
food, supply plates, napkins and utinsels, take the money, set up, and clean up. Should be able to
make about $2000 to $3000 dollars and make up some of our money we missed during our
Tailgate. Tom proposed the motion that we do this and Rodney seconded, the motion passed with
everyone agreeing.
Rodney suggested we make a list of donors to use as a reference so we are not bothering the same
people over and over again for different things. We need to make sure we thank our sponsors as
well.
Rodney volunteered to make a one page sheet of our fundraisers to hand out at our events. We
will also add this to our program booklet.
Ann will look for a place to hold the Marching Band Award Night.
Meeting adjourned at 8:55 pm
Next meeting is Monday, November 3 at 7:00 pm in ZCHS Main Cafeteria
