Mrs.

Kolackis Class
Week of Feb. 2-6
Reading this week we discussed
the reoccurring essential question
about how the environment effects
the people. We read a book called
The Amazing Erie Canal.
We finally completed our rough
draft this week on our 5 paragraph
essay. We are ready for some
editing!
Math was great this week we are
putting our math fact knowledge
and multiples to the test! We are
working on relationships in finding
common denominators. What ever
you do to the denominator, you
must do to the numerator!

Student Corner
This week in our class we are working on
a essay and we are checking the papers
and we are doing fractions with the same
denominator and we are reading the BFG
and we read The Amazing Erie Canal and
we wrote how the environment changed
the people and how the people changed
the environment. It was a happy week. My
favorite lunch this week was chicken
dippers

Hello All,
Do you think we are done with the snow?
I am in need of possibly 2 parent
volunteers for the Valentines Day party.
If you are interested please contact me
ASAP. (The party is next Friday 2/13,

Valentines , please make sure you have
one for each child in the class. There are
