Description of artifact and how the artifact meets the standard:
Mighty Minutes are fun and easy transition cards that come with our Creative Curriculum sets. They
are research based and developed by Teaching Strategies GOLD. They are aligned with our GOLD
assessment for easy data collection as well.

Reflection on artifact (what went right, what went wrong, how to make better):
I like using the Mighty Minute cards at large group time because they are a fast and easy way to get
students involved. I really like that the Mighty Minute card are aligned with our GOLD assessment.
After I teach the card I can enter data on the card and it tells me which objectives were related to the
activity. It always gives a lot more objectives than I would have entered if I were just doing the
activity without the card. One downside to that is that I dont always feel the activity provides
enough evidence to support collecting data on all of the objectives that are listed. Usually I will only
collect data on the objectives that I feel there was enough data to support.
