Radio Advertising

1. The conference is going to be about how radio advertisers uses our


emotions to make us buy
things. The purpose of radio
advertising is connect with people.
One of the main strategies that radio advertising uses is generate an
emotion in the audience so the people can feel comfortable with the Ad,
therefore the people feel comfortable with the product.
Perhaps the professor is going to explain the way that successful Ads are made.
My prediction was aimed to the conference. But I was thinking in something a
little bit different, I thought he was going to talk about the process of making
an Ad, and how advertisers make that elements like music in the Ads influence
us.

The product is an insect killer. I was thinking in something like Raid, but it
was a Doggie flea collar

They are making a countdown time to New Year. Perhaps they are going to
advertise a sale.

Self-assessment : I think I deserve a 4,3 grade because I paid attention to the


listening, and I tried to solve the exercises the best I could.

I am going to listen a lot of music and watch movies to improve my listening


skills. Also I am going to try to attend as many tutorials as I can.
