    Objective: erase a white board (I will provide the white board)


    # of required steps: 10 (not including erasing white board)
    Budget: $5
    Group: of 3 ($5, 10 steps), 4 ($8, 15 steps)
    Materials I provide: whatever you can find that I approve from my room 102, ie spaghetti and straws, VEX IQ parts, VEX EDR parts.
    Materials you can use from the shop: cardboard, scrap metal
    o If you find other materials youd like to use, please ask permission
    Materials you can provide: ANYTHING you can find, as long as the total value of those items (if purchased) is $5 or less.
    o Examples: toilet paper rolls, hot glue, lego, bottles, string, baking supplies, miscellaneous recycled objects, paper cups, etc.
    Materials NOT allowed: Anything that isnt school appropriate or is against school rules. i.e. knives, fireworks, etc. All materials to be used must be
    scrap, or secondhand.
    Assessment: your project will be out of 300 marks
    o 100- design, planning, drafting
    Ideation sketches
    Rough draft
    Final draft
    Materials list
    o 100- construction
    Construction plan
    Shop safety
    Neatness
    Intricacy
    Originality
    o 100- presentation
    Physical presentation
    Call me into wherever shop this contraption is in, explain the steps, then run the machine
    Digital presentation
    Make a video of your final working machine, upload it to youtube, and submit the link as a comment to my Rube Goldberg
    blog post, including your and your partners names.
    o DUE DATE: Friday November 9, 2015 (video by Monday November 10, 2015)
    o THINGS TO CONSIDER:
    levers, pulleys, rolling balls, ramps, tubes, and the domino effect to keep things moving
