several rules for recognizing when a vowel is long or short in a word.
Math Students are continuing to learn new strategies for adding. We

greater than 10. We are also working on improving our math fluency by
doing Mad Minutes each week, with the goal of completing 30 addition
problems in 1 minute).
Science- Students are continuing to look at ways to classify animals. They
are also able to find similarities and differences in animals, and why these

the many ways something can be described- feeling, color, size, shape,
and many other ways! They are working on adding more descriptions
throughout their writing.
