Rural True Blues

Jon Schroeder, Reporter

The Rural True Blues held their March meeting at the Zwicker’s house. All
members were present. We had guest speaker, Penny Peterson. She showed
how to make a paperbag album. Each made an album with personal pictures.
They all turned out great and unique. Thank you Penny!

After the craft we held our meeting. The secretary’s report was read and changes
were made. Also the newsletter report was revised as it did not include the talks
and demos. They were as follows:
Julia—Demo-How to trim a cat’s nails
Trenten—Demo-Electricity & Talk-The impact of 4-H
Rachael—Demo-The proper way to crack an egg
Alyssa—Demo-Eating Healthy & Talk-Photography
Jon—Demo-How to crop a picture & Talk-Taking a Proper Photo

Old business was discussed. The next meeting will be April 24th at Rita Bowen’s
Studio. After the craft we will return to the Zwicker’s for the meeting and snacks.
Zwickers will bring the snacks and the Schroeders will bring drinks. New business
was discussed. Members learned of the changes for the fair. Many questions
were raised to the safety of the projects. The leaders advised that every project
be placed in plastic with the entry tag on the outside. Other questions included if
the projects were going to be roped off and the process for picking up projects.
Many issues were brought up concerning our projects. Upcoming dates in the
newsletter were discussed also. The meeting concluded with Christian’s talk on
vegetable presentation and a demo of our new website,
www.RuralTrueBlues.Club.Officelive.com.
