Abstract
Instalation of casted concrete during the process of making pits and other underground premises
is the most used securing procedure in the Republic of Serbia. Concrete gunning procedure is
significant less used, although it has multiple advantages over the casted concrete procedure.
The concrete-gunning process is used a lot in Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Russia, Canada, etc.,
not only in the underground exploitation of mineral resources but also at making tunnels,
chambers, metro and others. The paper gives a wide choice of machines and equipment for
concrete-gunning, a list of the advantages of this procedure compared to the concreting using
casted concrete and a list of empirical data of the use of this concreting procedure in RMU
"Jasenovac", where this procedure is being applied for many years.
