Technology Where How was it used
Panasonic DV Production We filmed our footage with Panasonic DV
cameras with Cameras; the tripod aided us with still
Tripod shots. We were able to zoom in and out
of specific areas.
Imovie During Production We used imovie to edit the production;
and Post we also added effects and changed
Production transactions. This programme enabled us
to watch footage and make decisions on
what we wanted to include in our film. It
had many effects that made our
production conventional; we used the
black and white wash to help connote a
flashback. Our titles were also created on
imovie; we used fades to come out of the
flashbacks.
Garage Band Post production Garage band allowed us to edit and
create music; the first piece of music we
used in our production was already there.
We imported another track from the
internet and cut it down on garage band.
We created the final piece of music
ourselves; we used a sample from the
programme and edited the rest ourselves.
Scribdi/ Pre production Scribdi and photo bucket were used to
Photo bucket Production store documents and pictures, some work
Post production on blogger are linked to Scribdi. The
website enables us to upload Microsoft
word documents so they can be viewed
on blogger.
YouTube Pre production We uploaded all our draft productions to
Production YouTube; we also used the annotation
Post production function to annotate our final video.

millions of people all over the world to
view videos..
Blogger Pre production All of our pre-production and post
Production production was submitted to blogger, we
Post production used this site the most and it shows the
process of creating the opening sequence.
Glogster Pre production We created brainstorms on glogster to
add to our blogger. We were able to
design our work and make it look more
interesting than it usually does.
Successful/Unsuccessful
The camera was complicated
to use but enabled a clear
picture and good quality
picture. However a problem we
faced with the camera was
that we couldn’t film at night
as it wasn’t clear.
Imovie was easy to but we had
we had a problem as imovie
didn’t allow us to edit the
lighting quite how we wanted.
The programme was simple
and gave us the exact results
we wanted. However there
wasn’t a wide range of sad
emotional sample music.
Both programmes were easy to
use.
It is very reliable and relatively
simple to use, another
advantage is that you can edit
videos on YouTube. We also
uploaded our production logs
onto the site
Blogger was successful in
hosting different forms of
media I uploaded. I was also
able to save draft posts that I
could go back to edit which
was very useful. However
when I uploads videos straight
to blogger they wouldn’t play.
So I had to upload all my
videos to YouTube first then
transfer them to blogger which
created more work.
Time consuming but worth it in
the end as the information
looked more presentable.
 Survey Pre production This website helped us build a Very reliable in producing our
monkey questionnaire; we were able to send the feedback however it took some
link to the public to get ideas for our time for the results to come

I gained a great deal about the technology used through post, during and post production.
Some programmes like Garage Band i had never used before and this project taught me how
to edit and create music. I also learnt how to upload videos to YouTube and post blogs. The
apple Mac’s very useful as I constructed most of my tasks on them.
