Sketch the classroom layout. How are desks, chairs, tables, teachers desk,
computers, etc. arranged?

Reflection
It was very interesting to see the layout of this classroom. The
teacher desk, as you see was in the sketch, is in the back of the
classroom. I found this to be interesting because with the way the
students were seated the teacher couldn't see their faces. But as I was
in the classroom more I realized the teacher very rarely sat at her desk
and was constantly moving around the room.
The classroom library was by far the best classroom library I had
seen. My teacher had put a rug down so the students were not sitting
on the cold tile. My teacher had put some large stuffed animals in the
library for the students to lie on. My teacher also put yoga balls in
their for the students to sit on. Periodically throughout the day the
teacher would call names for the students to go get a yoga ball when
they were silently working. I found that to be an effective solution to
get the students to be more focused if they were not that way they
could earn a yoga ball. I will definitely implement this set up in my
future classroom.
