    2011-2012 SCHOOL YEAR REMINDERS FRIDAY, NOV. 4 NO SCHOOL UF HOMECOMING Come out and support MACS at the Micanopy Fall Festival on Oct. 29 & 30. Students not in their classroom by 8:15 are considered tardy. An adult must accompany them to the front office or send a note for an EXCUSED tardy. Students are encouraged to wear their MACS shirts on Fridays.

    Christmas Basket
    The PTO will raffle an amazing Christmas basket at Light Up Micanopy on Dec.10. Tickets are on sale in the front office for $1.00 and will be on sale at the Micanopy Fall Festival.

    SAFETY PATROL
    The Safety Patrol is selling hand-made hats in MACS colors for $10 and bookmarks for $5. Please send in payment labeled with students name and indicate adult or child size for the hat.

    Book Fair The Scholastic book fair raised over $600 for MACS PTO, put $369.83 worth of books in MACS classrooms, and raised $62.85 in our boys vs. girls contest, which went toward books for MACS classrooms - Scholastic will also donate this amount in books to less fortunate schools.

    GATOR BASKET & BIKE RAFFLE Tickets will be on sale each Wednesday through Dec. 10. $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00.

    PENNIES FOR PATIENTS


    As of Friday, Oct. 21 we had collected $310. We will announce the winning class next week.

    Early Dismissal on Wednesdays


    School dismisses at 1:00 every Wednesday. After school care is available from Blue Wave for a fee.
