When Mary found out she was going to have a baby, she got ready and hurried to see her cousin, Elizabeth. When Mary walked into the room, Elizabeths baby that was inside her leaped for joy! Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. In a loud voice, she said, Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the child you are carrying! Luke 1:39-45

Set aside some quiet time with God this morning. Pray and ask God to help you focus on the true meaning of the season. Thank God for sending Jesus to earth. Why did the angel visit Mary?

Practice your memory verse. You can find it in your GPS or in the Bible in James 1:17.

As you spend time in the car this Christmas season, listen to Christmas music. Discuss your favorite song with your family. Ask your family members about their favorite songs. What new song could you learn this season that would help you all focus more on the birth of Jesus?

Choose one night this season to spend the night underneath your Christmas tree. Give thanks to God for each light that reminds you of Jesus, the Light of the World. Pray that your family will share the light of the world with others who may not know Jesus.
