Draw the small signal equivalent circuit of JFET in CD configuration and derive the expressions for voltage gain, input resistance and output resistance. Derive the voltage gain, input and output resistances of CG amplifier. Given rd = 100 K.ohms, gm = 300 mhos, R L = 10 K.ohms R S = 600 ohms. When n-identical stages of amplifier are cascaded, derive the expression for overall voltage gain Avn, lower cutoff frequency f 1n , upper cutoff frequency f 2n and band width. Three identical cascaded stages having overall upper 3 dB frequency of 20 KHZ and lower 3 dB frequency of 20 Hz. Find f H and F 1 of each stage. Derive the expression for CE short circuit current gain as a function of frequency and hence define f and f T . l l ABJT has gm = 38 m mhos, r b e = 5.9 K ohms, hie = 6 K ohms rbb = 100 ohms, C e = 63 PF and C C = 12 PF and hfe = 224 at 1 kHz calculate f and f T . Draw the circuit of class-B push pull amplifier explain its operation and also prove that the conversion efficiency is 78.5% Discuss in detail about (i) Cross over distortion (ii) Heat sinks. Derive the equation for 3db bond width of double tuned amplifier. What is a tuned voltage amplifier? Draw the current of a tuned voltage amplifier and explain its working. Discuss elaborates on the stability of tuned amplifier. Explain working of class-C tuned amplifier with a neat circuit diagram and wave forms.
