Another great week in school, handing out weekly Achievement Certificates to such role models is an absolute joy. I am very proud of our achievers every week. Some of you may have noticed an increased Police presence as well as parking reinforcement officers with cameras, this was requested action by the school to ensure the safety of our pupils and the local residents. Whilst not lining up in the morning has had a dramatic improvement on our situation, there are still a few vehicles putting our children at risk. Think please! Mr. Rothwell
This time last week, we all looked considerably different to what we do today. Everyone fully embraced our pyjama day to support such a fabulous cause. The total raised was 321.20. Thank you everyone! may have individual pictures or family ones. Parents of these may consider ordering a CD with multiple images on. The second image is cheaper than the first. Lights On and Community Carols


We will be joining other schools to participate in the Sheldon Christmas Lights switch on, on Wednesday 28th November at 4pm. Venue, Aldi car park. We hope you can join us. On Thursday 6th December, 7pm at Mapledene Primary School, we will be celebrating Christmas with other schools from our community, we hope to see you there.

More success for our boys team. Yesterday it was the turn of our Year 5s. Two teams participated in weather of Biblical proportions. One team managed to get to the semi finals, whilst the other brought the trophy home. Well done to: Matthew Richardson, Louis Dowling, Tommy Meers, Ryan Shields, Anton Johnson, George Glover, Reece Hoban, Jack James, Joseph Rencher, Joseph Brain, Harrison Nevitt, Connor Norman and Dylan Standen

Christmas Grotto
Santa will be in his Grotto at Sheldon Country Park on the 8th and 9th December from 11:00 to 16:00.

New Lighting
Work will start around the perimeter of the school to improve the street lighting. The City Council have let us know that this may take up to 30 days to complete, thus making parking around the school difficult.
