ANNOUNCEMENTS

Healing and Blessing Service led by Pastor Burgess will take place today in the Sanctuary at 4:00 p.m. Please join us for a time of prayer and praise. We need your input! The group planning Pastor Kimes farewell lunch on June 8 is creating a tribute presentation to be shown at the event, and we need your memories. Over the past 16 years we have all had great moments with Pastor Kimes, whether it was at a fellowship event, working alongside him in ministry, or just hanging out. If you have pictures of Reverend Kimes and maybe a story to tell, we want your input on a tribute video we are creating. If you have any photos that fit that description, please label them with a caption and your name, and drop them in the box provided at the Welcome Center in Oberholtzer Hall. If your photos are in a digital format, you can email them to Mark Mayers at markmayers14@gmail.com. Acolytes are Needed for the 11 a.m. Service Children in grades 2-5 who would be interested in serving as an acolyte or have questions about the ministry should contact Pam O'Brien at childrendirector@esumc.net or (570) 421-3280, ext. 11. Caring Caller Ministry Beginning the week of April 6th, caring callers trained by the Membership Assimilation team will place phone calls to formerly active members of ESUMC who have not registered attendance for at least four weeks. The purpose of this M.I.A. program is to let folks know that they are missed and to assess any way in which the church may be helpful to them. If you are attending church, please fill out the communication card to register your attendance so the team does not call you unnecessarily. Thank you! College Care! Many of our college students have had a rough semester coping with weather challenges. Lets cheer them up and remind them that their ESUMC family cares. If you can pick up a $10 gift card from Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, CVS, McDonalds, or other collegeage friendly site, please donate it to the College-age Ministry to be included in the cards and letters we send out in April. You can drop them in the collection plate or in the office anytime before April 1st.

Changes are coming next month starting April 6th.

Sunday school students will go to worship with their family during the first part of the 9:45 a.m. service. The students will sit with their family until they are dismissed before the time of prayer. At that time there will be a teacher to escort students to their respective classrooms where they will continue to have lessons using The Story as their curriculum. We feel that this is a good way to help them grow in their faith and a great time for parents to share their faith with them! East Stroudsburg United Methodist Church partners with parents in their children's faith formation. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to call Pam O'Brien at 4213280 ext. 11 or email at childrendirector@esumc.net
