Welcome to 6th Grade!

Dear Parent(s), Guardian(s),

Welcome back to another school year at Twin Oaks Elementary School! I am
Miss. Melissa and I am excited to work with you and your child this school
year. I will be teaching Mathematics, Language Arts, and Social Studies in the
classroom between August 31, 2016 to December 2nd, 2016.
I am currently in my final year at McGill University in the Bachelors of
Education, K/Elementary Program. This year will be my third time teaching
with Sir Wilfred Laurier School Board. However, my teaching experience has
increased beyond the school board. I am an art instructor at a franchised art
studio where I teach and curate art classes, workshops, and childrens
birthday parties.
Teaching has been a passion of mine growing up as a student. I look forward
to teaching your children and helping them prepare for the transition to
middle school. I hope to make this school year a meaningful one for your
child.
