Explain to the students that tone is
important in reading aloud.

Assign the students into small groups.

Each group is assigned to read aloud
particular paragraphs of another
creation story using a different tone.
The tone assigned to each group will
not be revealed to all students, but the
concerned group only.
Instruct the groups to study how they
should read the paragraphs assigned
to them.
