This lesson plan is for year 4 students and will take 50-60 minutes. Students will finish and present their power point presentations to the class, with their slides displayed on the interactive whiteboard for all to see. They will talk through their presentation and then answer questions from classmates. Students uncomfortable speaking publicly may instead record their voice to accompany their presentation slides. iPads and the interactive whiteboard will be used to share the individual power point presentations.

Activity: Once students finish their power point presentations, they will present their work to the class. I-pads can be hooked up to the IWB so everyone can see their slides. Students will talk the class through their presentation and then take several questions at the end. If a student does not feel comfortable or is unable to speak in front of the class they may record their voices on the I-pads and use this to complement their presentation.
