How do you plan to implement this lesson and integrate the technology? Check all that apply:

Lesson idea implementation:
The students will be given a handout at school on how to access the podcast. The podcast provides
the additional instructions. The handout will have the student goals provided. Students will be asked
to create a drawing based on what they hear in the podcast. This lesson is a student led flipped

classroom. Students will then be shown a picture I created to fit the story and will be asked to find
what is the same and what is different between my picture and there’s. I will conclude the lesson by
asking students to provide feedback on how they liked the podcast.
Managing student learning: Students will be asked to complete the assignment at home. If a
student does not have access to a device, they will be provided a school Chromebook through the
library.
Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Reflection:
Students will engage in multiple means of action and expression. They will be encouraged to express what
they feel the story conveyed.
Reflection: I feel the students will enjoy this activity. It engages all forms of learning while
appropriately implementing technology in an age appropriate manner.
