Description of how to implement in the class:

Students will be shown the narrated PowerPoint as a review on numbers and as an example of what
the teacher wants them to create in their own narrated PowerPoint. Doing this will have the students
using multiple content areas like language arts and mathematics to complete this task.

The children will then be broken up into groups to create their own narrated PowerPoint. They will
get to choose what numbers and objects they want to use in their PowerPoint. They will have to
create a minimum of 5 different numbers and objects, then they will record themselves with the help
of the teacher reading their narrated PowerPoint. After everyone is done they will present their
PowerPoints to the class and the teacher will print off everyones work and display them in the
reading center for later use.

Level of Technology Implementation (LoTi):

This lesson implements a LoTi level 4 because students are using technology to create and apply.
Also, students are collaborating on their project and sharing it with the class and this learning
experience is student-centered.

Description of the sample spreadsheet and graph/chart provided *:

The PowerPoint shows the students objects, such as apples and pencils, and asks how many there
are. This will be shown to the students before they are to create their own narrated PowerPoint.
