Sir/ Madam:

May I have the honor to refer therewith for your proper disposition the case of
Robbery with Homicide that transpired at about 11:35 in the evening, on July 4, 2016,
inside the house located at Guiho St., Bermudez Plains Subdivision, Bgy. Apokon,
Tagum City, Davao Del Norte, wherein the person being accused of is: JASON MAPUTI
y DINA, male, 32 years old (DOB: February 14, 1984), single, jobless, native of Davao
del Norte and residing at 666 Somewhere Down the Road St., Bgy. Apokon, Tagum City,
Davao del Norte.

FACTS OF THE CASE:

Investigation disclosed that at around 11:35 in the evening of July 4, 2016, the
suspect named herein, armed with a handgun surreptitiously entered into the dwelling of
Spouses Matobato, with the objective to rob the said dwelling and was able to carry
away from the said house the following articles:
85,000 in cash
white gold necklace w/ diamond worth 15,000
gold bracelet; weight 13.70gms worth 40,050
white gold bracelet; weight 10.02gms worth 25,000
2 earrings 24kgold worth 16,000
diamond 18kgold worth 50,000
iphone 6s plus space gray worth 42,999
apple SE 64gb worth 24,999
samsung galaxy s7 edge worth 21,000

His presence in the dwelling was discovered by the inhabitants therein, he

immediately made an attempted to escape by scaling the gate of the said property; the
deceased herein immediately went after him and was able to caught up with him which
prompted him to shoot the later five times, but was only able to land 2 bullets in the
chest, which resulted to the immediate death of the victim. Soon after, the apprehending
officers were able to catch him and put him under their custody.
 During custodial investigation, apprehended suspect was duly apprised of his
Constitutional Rights, but he opted to remain silent in the absence of his counsel.

This matter will be presented by SPO Hacordro Versosa and SPO Pingping
Trillanes.
