Hello! My name is Teresa Caiola and Im a
Video Production student at Passaic
County Technical Institute. Recently, the
Video Production Students were invited to
take part in the NASA HUCH CHALLENGE.
In this challenge, students are given the
task of communicating NASAs mission
using a variety of genres and in only 5
minutes.(pause) NASA supplied archival
video links from the Johnson Space Center
Public Affairs Office as well as their Center
for Video Imagery to include in their
productions.
By researching the video archives of NASA,
students explored various experiments and
historical contributions so they can
communicate what makes NASA so
important. The goal in this competition is
create a video that best communicates
NASAs mission to their demographic. Here
at PCTI, communication is what we at
Video Production do best. Now, lets take a
look at what some of the student producers
are creating for this competition.

Well, there you have it! Regardless of
Genre, whether its Documentary, Short
Films, Promotional Videos, and Gaming all
about NASA, communication is key in every
piece created. Whether communicating
from mission control to Outer Space, or
Communicating here on Earth, we hope
