PREPARATION
1. Teacher greets the students and checks their attendance. (1)
2. Students listen to the learning objectives that delivered by the teacher using ppt (todays
agenda). (1)

3. Students are given a picture of Kung Fu Panda 2 by the teacher and the teacher asks what they
know from that movie. (2)

4. Teacher motivates the students to work in the group well like what the members in that movie
did because they will have group work later. (1)
(Po needs his team to defeat a powerful villain with a massive mechanical weapon that could
take out all of China. Tigress, Mantis, Viper, Crane and Monkey all bring something
important to the team. That is why you have to work in team and maximize what you have as
well to help your team member).
5. Students are asked what did they get from the last meeting. (1)
6. Teacher does some review about the last material that students have learned from the previous
meeting using date and based on the absence number. (5)

INSTRUCTION AND ACTIVITIES


1. Teacher divides students in 4 group by asking students to count 1 to 4. (1)
2. Students are asked to sit with their team members, which are the students who have the
same numbers with them. (1)
3. Teacher gives the hat numbers for the students to be wore based on their numbers in their
groups. (1)
4. Teacher tells the students that they will have a math game that will be done in their group
and gives the instruction. (2)
a. All of you will get a question.
b. You must work in your team to solve the question and make sure that all of you
understand the answer.
c. I will tell you to stop when the time is over.
d. I will choose one number between 1 to 4, the number that I choose have to raise their
hand as fast as they can. The fastest one will be the one that write the answer on the
whiteboard and explain it in front of the class.
e. Make sure that the explanation is clear and the answer is right.
f. The rest teams have to check whether the answer is right or not.
g. For the team who gets the right answer and explanation will get one point. The one
that gets it wrong will get minus two points.
5. Teacher gives one question for the students one by one (the total questions are 7) and
does based on the instruction above. (20)
