Rover Landing Prototype

By: Leopoldo & Antonio

Prototype: Mushroom Cloud
The idea of the original design was to maximise the amount
of air the parachute would catch by making a more round
shape but when we got to tying it up with strings in order to
connect it to the cup what ended up happening was that it
kept getting tangled up and we had to keep replacing them
over and over again to a point where it was no longer
symmetrical and we also put the cup right up to the
parachute which inevitably ended up weighing it down and
making it unstable.

Changes:

Sponges for base landing gear to minimize impact

Incorporating balloons to add more air resistance
Make a more rectangular and bigger parachute to increase air resistance
And straws at the base of strings to avoid entanglement
