What is Istiqamah?

The word Istiqamah means to go straight into the right direction, acting rightly,
allowing no deviation.

When we want to to emigrate, we must get out from the past. Because when we want
to emigrate we must consistent and avoid the things that are not useful. Dont arrogant of all
that we have in this world because in the hereafter all will be same.

Every soul must taste of death, and We try you with evil and with good, for ordeal. And unto
Us ye will be returned. (Al Anbiyaa:35)

We must be Istiqamah to what Allahs command us to do. Because Rasulullah SAW

feels so hard when hes Istiqamah.

Lo! those who say: Our Lord is Allah, and afterward are upright, the angels descend upon
them, saying: Fear not nor grieve, but hear good tidings of the paradise which ye are
promised. (Fushilat:30)

So, how can we be Istiqamah?

We can do Istiqamah slowly and gradually. What should we do if we want be Istiqamah:

1. Intention
With intention we can straighten the Istiqamah.

 "On the authority of Omar bin Al-Khattab, who said : I heard the messenger of
Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam say : Actions are but by intention and every man
shall have but that which he intended. Thus he whose migration was for Allah and His
messenger, his migration was for Allah and His messenger, and he whose migration
was to achieve some worldly benefit or to take some woman in marriage, his
migration was for that for which he migrated. ~ Related by Bukhari and Muslim

2. Leave the things that make us not productive (e.g: active in media social).
3. Reduce blamming the devil.

Who whispereth in the hearts of mankind (An Naas:5)

Because without the devil people can:

- Do the good things

- Do the crime things

4. Determine what can you do although little but consistent.
