Overall aim and context of the lesson:

3NMD4. Use known doubles and halves facts to


find related doubles and halves.

Students work out to solve the division problem


that has divisor more than 2, (3,4,5, up to 10).
Using materials or drawing to represent my
answers. Use known halves to find related halves.

Choose two aspects from the competency areas to evaluate and discuss (one paragraph each) according
to following

Firstly, discuss one aspect that YOU feel you did very well. Try to analyze why you think it worked well
and what hints you would share with other teachers about the successful strategy/
resource/activity/management style etc.

Let the students present their work to the whole class which help the students to
assess themselves and help the teacher to check for understand. Also, make the
students develop their speaking skills as well as using the vocabulary for the
lesson.
Secondly, elaborate on the aspect identified by YOU that requires attention. Discuss what the problem
was, why it occurred and what action you intend to take to be more successful in the next lesson.

Try to make the introduction short and useful to the students because if they sit and
listen to the teacher I will lose their attention. I might let the students involve in my
introduction by giving my example and let student to do next example. Or I can let from
each table to read their instruction card for their activity.

Personal focus for next lesson:


Try to come up with examples to address all the level while I teaching the whole class.
