I. Objectives
At the end of the lesson, the students can:
1. Identify and apply the different properties of proportion;
2. Apply the fundamental theorems of proportionality; and
3. Solve problems involving properties of proportion.

Play the “Guess the word” game
Let the student “Guess the word”
Ask someone in the class to guess the word
C. Activities
Divide the class into group
Each group will follow the instruction in the activity
The teacher will check the work of each group
D. Abstraction
Proceed to the lesson which is Fundamental theorems of proportionality
Ask the learners about their idea on the topic
Introduce Fundamental theorems of proportionality
Discuss and solve given examples
E. Application
The teacher give examples and solve it on the board

IV.Assessment
The students will solve the example in Fundamental theorems of proportionality

V.Assignment

Identify the property of proportion used to transform the following proportions

PROPORTION TRANSFORMATION PROPERTY
¼ = 2/5 1x5 = 2x4
m/n = v/w m+n/n = v+w/w
