WHAT IS SOCIOLOGY?
Studying sociology trains students to
critically analyze many aspects of society,
from institutions like family, religion, and
government to topics such as crime, city
life, unemployment, marriage, and suicide. 
Sociologists view individual lives within
the context of the history of civilization.
