“ROOMS DIVISION IN ACTION” : A Video Presentation (FINALS)

Students will be graded according to the following criteria:

Structure, Projection
Does the performance have transition/beats, and a clear
beginning, middle, climax, and end?
Emotional connection, Relevance to the Theme
Are you really “selling” that you are becoming this character or
are you simply “play-acting”?
Character Work and Specificity of acting choices
Is there a clear pursuit of actions/objectives?
Sound effects, Voice dubbing
Is the sound quality and voice dubbing clear, crisp, and audible?
Imagination and Creativity
Are you bringing something different to the piece or are you
just reciting the lines?
Memorization, movements, and creation of space
Is the blocking clear and do the actors commit to and follow
through with their actions and gestures?

Requirements:
1. The video presentation must be a minimum of three (3) minutes and maximum of five (5) minutes. Students must execute 2-3 topics discussed in
different scenarios.
2. The material must be memorized.
3. Costume, sound effects, makeup, realistic venue, and props are REQUIRED.
4. A hardcopy of the script and cast of characters must also be submitted.
