Results revealed that the three(3) schemes, the respondents favoured the 3rd scheme
consist of an open-rectangular shaped 3 storey Cast-in-Place Concrete Parking
Structure which composed of a 90-degree parking bay that allows 166 parking spaces
with two-way traffic flow, an Exterior Circular Ramp (intended for vehicle exit) and
two car lifts. Elevators are also provided.
As a conclusion, the third scheme will serve as the final conceptual design for the
Proposed Conceptual Design of a Three-Storey Parking Building.
CHAPTER 1
INTRODUCTION
The main objective of the study is to conceptualize a design that will serve as a
model for a Three-storey Parking Building to reduce traffic congestion in Iligan
City. Specifically it will seek to answer the following objective:
1.4 Hypothesis
Private car owners will park their vehicles in safe place and avoid illegal
parking fee.
Future Researcher will be able to use this study as a basis for their study
and the can also do a follow-up on the recommendations given.
Terminal – refers to the location on which the Jeepneys and other public
vehicles are being stationed.
Single Helix Ramps – refers to the ramp that is being used at scheme 1.
