At the end of the lesson the students are expected to:

Good morning class -Good morning sir!

Please all rise for the opening prayer (The class will pray)

So are you ready class for our discussion? -Very much sir!

B. Motivation

Alright class, before we start our discussion let us


have an activity. There are jumbled letters written
on the board, you will have to arrange the jumbled
letters to form the correct words. So I need five
volunteers to come in front.

Who wants to volunteer? (The students will raise their hand and perform the
activity)

function and uses.
Who among you here has an idea about Electric

Here’s another definition of electric bell. Please

signal tone when electric energy is applied.

Let’s proceed to the essential components of
electric bell. Who among you here has an idea
about those components? -Electromagnet
-Hammer or Beater
-Gong
-Adjustable contact point

Okay that’s correct. Those are the essential


components of Electric Bell.

What is electromagnet?
-this is a magnetic wire wound on an insulated soft
iron bolt.

2nd component is the Hammer- this is a small ball


attached to the armature which strikes the gong
that produces audible sound.

3rd component is the Gong- this is a concave iron


disk that produces a loud sound when struck by
the hammer.

4th component is the adjustable contact point- this


is a screw that serves as a contact switch to the
contact spring.

D. Application
If there’s no question, we will have an application
of what you have learned. I have here an
illustration of Electric Bell but the parts are not
indicated in the illustration, so what are you going
to do is to find the parts in the cut out papers here
in the table and paste it to the illustration. Is it (The students will perform the activity)

-it is use in school to signal the beginning and end
of each class sessions.

alarm.
