Detailed lesson plan in MAPEH 8(Arts)

At the end of the lesson, students are expected to;
a. discuss the history and important aspects of East Asian painting
b. identify the elements of arts in east asian painting
c. recognize the beautiful handwriting as calligraphy
d. write a Chinese calligraphy

create artworks showing the characteristic elements of the arts of East Asia

analyze elements and principles of art in the production of arts and crafts inspired by the cultures of
east asia

Review the different elements of arts.
B. Establishing a Purpose
Answer the pre-assessment activity page 232 in the LM.
C. Presenting Example
If you were asked to make a painting, what would you paint? Why would you choose that?
What do you call the things you are going to paint?
In east asia, the objects or items that are usually put into paintings are called subjects, themes, or
motifs. These may be animals, people, landscapes and anything about the environment.
