 Art elements and processes by synthesizing and applying prior knowledge and skills
 The salient features of the arts of East Asia by showing the relationship of the elements of art and
processes.

manga ); and Korea (theatre masks, drums, and K- pop)

IV. PROCEDURE
A. Reviewing previous lesson or presenting new lesson:
 The prominent features of the vocal and instrument of music of Southeast Asian music
 In Southeast Asia, there are eleven countries to visit. If you given a chance to visit this countries,
which one would you visit first? Why?

B. Establishing purpose of the lesson:


- East Asian countries specifically China, Japan, and Korea. These countries have been noted for their
numerous similarities and commonalities in their art production, artistic traditions, and principles of
arts as influenced by their history, beliefs, religion, location, culture, and dynasty

H. Making Generalization:
 The region of East Asia encompasses modern China, Japan, and Korea. Given that these nations
share much culture materials, they can be referred to collectively as East Asian civilization
 Japanese art covers a wide range of art styles and media, including ancient pottery, sculpture, ink
painting and calligraphy on silk and paper, ukiyo-e paintings and woodblock paintings, ceramics and
origami.
 Korean arts include traditions in calligraphy, music, painting and pottery, often marked by the use of
natural forms, surfaced decoration and bold colors or sounds.
