ABSTRACT

Social Media Network Participation and Academic Performance among the Grade-11 Students of
Sta. Lucia Academy, School Year 2017-2018, a quantitative research, Sta. Lucia Academy, November

The main concern of this study was to determine if the social media network participation
affects the academic performance of the Grade-11 students of Sta. Lucia Academy, S. Y. 2017-2018. This
study would further investigate on the effects of social media network participation in the academic
performance of the said respondents.

The respondents of the study were the one hundred fifty-two (152) Senior High School Grade-
11 students of Sta. Lucia Academy. A questionnaire, along with Mean, Standard Deviation and
Correlation were used in the conduct of this study.
