SECOND PTA CONFERENCE

The parents and guardians together with the class adviser convened on August 24 at 9:00 to
11:00 AM at Grade VII-Carnelian classroom. Ms. Aira Joyce N. Cuaterno presided the meeting.

Classroom problems that needs immediate action:

a. Absenteeism
b. Addiction of male students to basketball

These problems are presented to the parents and guardians and it was agreed that the parents
or guardians will monitor the attendance of their children in every subject. In case the student needs to
absent, he or she will submit an excuse letter to the class adviser on or after the day he or she was
absent.

Some of the male students became addicted to basketball, even in class hours they prefer to
play basketball than to attend their classes especially in the afternoon. Upon presenting the problem,
the parents and guardians agreed that in the case the students will be caught playing basketball during
class hours, the ball will be confiscated by the teacher. One problem that also occurs in regard with the
male student playing basketball is that students are very sweaty to attend their next class. The parents
and guardians agreed that the male students should bring extra t-shirt and towel.

The releasing of report cards was done based on the attendance, first come first served basis.

It was agreed upon by the group that the next meeting will be on November 9, 2019 at 9:00 am
at the Grade VII-Carnelian classroom.

The meeting was adjourned 11:00 am. See attached attendance sheet for the members who are
present in the meeting.
