Subject: Request for the Withdrawal as Head Teacher
Dear Madam,
1. I, ​Maryam Shafiq (ESE) is performing the duties of Head Teacher since ​Feb
2018 at ​GGPS Daim Wala, Markaz Kotla Mosa Khan (Female)​. During this period, I
had performed my duty with full dedication and devotion. I took various steps to uplift
the standard of school by incorporating construction of a bathroom, maintenance of
green belt and a shed for the students. Since I took the charge of head teacher /
headship the students’ strength has increased from ​65 to 100 by the efforts and my
devotion towards my duty. The school building primarily was merely single room which
was unable to accommodate the rising strength. It was therefore ​suggested to get a
shed constructed which amounted to ​Rs. 22,000.00 from NSB account under my
supervision. The shed was ready by ​08 April 2019 and started serving the cause well.
(​Pics attached at ref A​). The respected AEO was requested on ​09 April 2019 to visit
and inspect the newly constructed shed. She was also apprised with updates over the
entire period via Whatsapp. The same pictorial updates were also shared to higher
authorities by respected AEO herself. On ​12 April 2019​, a severe thunder and hail
storm followed by heavy rains caused an extreme damage to the recently constructed
shed. (​Pics attached at ref B​). The shed was then in a dire need of repairing. The hot
weather afterwards also forced us to get the shed repaired at the earliest with the cost
amounting to Rs.10,000.00 after having the instructions from respected AEO. (​Pics
attached at ref C​).

2. I am now asked by respected AEO by a written explanation about the reasons

that led to malfunctioning/ damage of the above said shed. (​Copy of explanation letter is
attached at ref D​). Quality of the shed is being questioned along with my credibility as
an individual by debarring me from utilizing funds and ongoing projects anymore. It is
worth mentioning that I have managed to get the funds approved from NRSP for
construction of 02 new washrooms on the basis of my personal efforts. It is also added
that under my supervision ​this school got first position in PEC-2018 5​th class exam
in the entire circle Kotla Mosa Khan which speaks of my dedication and devotion for
the uplifting and wellbeing of school’s standard.

3. The current circumstances have pushed me into mental stress and anxiety. It is
therefore ​humbly requested to take back my charge as Head Teacher​. I hope that
doing so will add up to the standards which AEO demands.
