in working as a nurse at your facility. I am currently in my final semester
of the BSN program at the University of Arizona and I am excited to be
beginning my nursing career.
I completed an honors thesis titled “Best practices for interdisciplinary
HANNAHGCOPLEY@GMAIL.COM collaboration: Nurses supporting the integration of doulas into a care
team.” For this thesis, I completed doula training and worked as a doula
for several very different births throughout Tucson. I participated in
integrative pain relief and emotional support for women and families in
the intrapartum period. Furthermore, I completed my preceptorship at
Carondelet St. Joseph’s postpartum care unit. Through this opportunity, I
214-893-0770 gained experience in the nursing care of women in the immediate
postpartum period, the management of postpartum hemorrhage,

the care of women and families in the intrapartum and postpartum
period would make me an excellent fit for this position.
Currently, I work in radiology quality control at TMC. While this
position does not include patient contact, this position has allowed me to
gain skill in communicating with physicians and coordinating between
units and radiology. The skeleton staff present on the weekends lends
itself to creative problem solving, as I act as the contact person for most
individuals and hospital personnel contacting the radiology department.
I am passionate about the nursing care of intrapartum women, and my
unique experience as a doula and a nursing student prepares me to
provide excellent care to women who chose this hospital. I believe I am
the perfect candidate to fill this role, and I look forward to speaking with
