Scene 1 INT LIVING ROOM

LEON walks on looking normal, turns on the tv and sits to
relax on the sofa. On the news, there’s are multiple
channels stating that homelessness is now a crisis and
it’s acting like a catalyst to make people panic. This
worries LEON. He then hears his phone ring upstairs so
proceeds to walk quickly up the stairs.

Scene 2 INT Bedroom

LEON goes to bed and picks up his phone looking
surprised. The reverse shot shows that he has missed 3
phone calls from a really close friend, LEON calls him
back straight away.
LEON
Yo Man, you called?!
FRIEND
Ahh, mate. It’s all gone wrong.
My mum has told me we have to be out the house within 3
days, otherwise we will be forcefully thrown out. I don’t
know what to do. I’m worried, man
LEON
I’m sorry man, hope everything goes well, I just don’t
know what to say to be honest. There’s a lot going on now
and I’m getting bad feelings about leaving the house
myself.
FRIEND
You’ll be fine bro, I just wanted to call you to say what
happened, I don’t have a clue what to do and my mum
doesn’t either
LEON
Keep me updated, later.
LEON keeps the phone in his hand and speaks to himself.
LEON
What can I do to stop it from affecting me? I must have
enough to pay the next month’s rent at least…

LEON goes onto the bank app on his phone, to check if

there’s any spare money just in case something bad
happens to him.
The bank balance shows very little money in it, prompting
LEON to panic more
He throws his phone down and goes to sleep
Scene 3 EXT Front Porch
LEON wakes up sitting outside, 40 years older. He is in
shock. He looks around for his belongings but can’t find
any, closely looking at his
He pulls out some coins and some rubbish that was
donated, looking at drink cans around him
DOUG
Um... Hello?
He keeps looking puzzled and carefully looking at not
only his own body, but the worthless items and junk
around him
DOUG
What could I possibly do?
He eventually falls asleep.
SCENE 4 INT BEDROOM
He slowly wakes up as Leon, back to his old self.
In a rush, he goes and grabs his phone, calling his best
friend to see if everything is okay.
FRIEND:
Yo bro, what you doing this weekend?
JOSH
There’s a time and place to talk about that man, your
homeless we need to see what we can do to help you?
FRIEND:
You’re talking bollocks. I’m fine, what are you talking
about?
JOSH
Bbbb-But you called me to say it all gone wrong for you,
that you’re getting kicked out

No man I’m fine. I’ve never said that…
Are you sure you are ok?

JOSH
Yeah I’m fine… I promise. Must have been a dream, well
I’m free this weekend, come lets go into London or
something

Josh walks down the stairs speaking himself

Josh:
Did I really dream all of that?
*ping* Josh’s phone receives a text from his mum all it
says is: ‘were homeless, we have to be out in 2 days@
