Will Technology Make People Smarter?

Yes, technology will make people smarter. Technology is the sum of techniques, skills,
methods, and processes used in the production of goods or services or in the accomplishment of
objectives, such as scientific investigation. As a student, I learn a lot using technologies like
computer and smartphones. It helps me to do important things that I can use in my school. Because
of technology, I have learned to explore things by myself on things that are strange to some people.
Because of human intelligence and skills, people made technologies that can make jobs easier.
Technology increases our knowledge on how we will maintain the quality and status of it.

Technology plays an important role in today’s society; it acts as a tunnel for people to do
things quickly and easily. By that, we learn on how to use it in a proper way. It is also use to
accomplish something, one good example is LEGO production; it is not possible if there’s no
technology or machinery helping and producing it. Technology is a product of science and of
course they will use it for scientific purposes. Discovery of microorganism is not also possible if
there is no technology that is use to magnify it. Together with the internet, technology can directly
transmit information for us to have. I can search and ask questions in the computer when there is
an internet. Television is a technology that can also transmit information just like news programs
and educational programs without the use of internet. By the information I get on my computer, I
get to know more things that I can use in my study and also for other purposes. The transmission
of information using technology is the greatest way to make people smarter. By the everyday use
of technology, I get to know more just by exploring on how I will use it. My exploring skills started
on computers, I always open files that I want to know about. I always click whatever is strange to
me, and I always think that I can fix computer problems though sometimes it really happens that I
get to fix it.

Our brain is working when we’re using technology, from that we can say that we get smarter
through the use of it and is very helpful to develop and enhance our thinking. The right control on
using technology has also an impact to make us smarter. Do not overuse technology because it
might be a cause of laziness, our focus on other things is distracted by the technologies we are
using. Do not always depend on technologies to do a certain thing; yes, we get smarter on these
things but if we can do a simple job by ourselves, then we just do it without technologies
accompaniment.

Without any doubt, technology can make us smarter. Smarter in the way that we can think
beyond our limits. It develops how we think, how we execute things, and how we show our skills.
A good usage of technology and a good maintenance of it is the best thing to do so we can see how
useful it is to us. Maybe we do not notice the impact of the technology on everybody but always
think that it is not harmful to us if we use it in a right way. We get smarter if know we how to use
it properly. Always explore so in that way we learn.
