A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ANNUAL BARANGAY YOUTH INVESTMENT PROGRAMS

OF THE SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN OF BARANGAY CAMATAGAN, SABANGAN, MOUNTAIN
PROVINCE FOR FISCAL YEAR 2019

WHEREAS, Republic Act No. 10742 otherwise known as the “Sangguniang Kabataan Reform
Act of 2015” states that the SK shall formulate a 3 year rolling plan known as the Comprehensive
Barangay Youth Development Plan and its Annual Barangay Youth Investment Program anchored with
the Local Youth Development Plan of the municipal and provincial level;

WHEREAS, in the same law states that the Annual Barangay Youth Investment Program refers
to the yearly program based on the Comprehensive Barangay Youth Development Plan. It contains
specific programs, projects, and activities with corresponding project cost including the necessary fund
flows to approximate the reasonable timing in the release of funds;

WHEREAS, JMC N0. 1, s. 2019 of the DBM, DILG and NYC provides that the Annual Barangay
Youth Investment Program shall be prepared and approved by the SK through a resolution before the
start of the preparation of the SK annual budget;

WHEREAS, the need arises to approve the Annual Barangay Youth Investment Program of the
Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Camatagan, Sabangan, Mountain Province for Fiscal Year 2019;

WHEREFORE, ON MOTION, DULY SECONDED, be it

RESOLVED, therefore, to approve the Annual Barangay Youth Investment Program of the
Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Camatagan, Sabangan, Mountaion Province for the Fiscal Year
2019;

RESOLVED, FURTHER, to attach this resolution together with the other supporting documents
of the FY 2019 SK Annual Barangay Youth Investment Program to the Sangguniang Bayan for review.

A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ANNUAL BUDGET OF THE SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN OF

BARANGAY CAMATAGAN, SABANGAN, MOUNTAIN PROVINCE FOR FISCAL YEAR 2019

WHEREAS, Republic Act No. 10742 otherwise known as the “Sangguniang Kabataan Reform
Act of 2015” provides that the Sangguniang Kabataan shall approve the annual budget which is the
annual slice of the Annual Barangay Youth Investment Program before the start of the succeeding fiscal
year;

WHEREAS, the same law further provides that the ten percent (10%) of the general fund of the
barangay shall be set aside in lump sum for the Sangguniang Kabataan which shall be solely for youth
development programs/plan and empowerment purposes;

WHEREAS, JMC N0. 1, s. 2019 of the DBM, DILG and NYC provides that the Sangguniang
Kabataan funds be automatically released by the by the Barangay to the SK, and shall not be subject
to any lien or holdback that may be imposed by the barangay for whatever purposes;

WHEREAS, the need arises to appropriate the Annual Budget of the Sangguniang Kabataan of
Barangay Camatagan, Sabangan, Mountain Province for Fiscal Year 2019;

WHEREFORE, ON MOTION, DULY SECONDED, be it

RESOLVED, therefore, to appropriate the 2019 Annual Budget of the Sangguniang Kabataan
of Barangay Camatagan, Sabangan, Mountain Province to be read as follows:

Section 1. Source of fund.The amount of Php 270,927.57 representing the 2019 10% SK fund of
Barangay Camatagan, Sabangan and 2014-2017 unexpended appropriation.

Section 2. Appropriation. SK plans, programs, projects, and activities:

1. Conduct of Sports Fest and procurement of uniform(Php 90,000)

2. Aid to athletics (Php 25,000)
3. Conduct of Music Instruments Tutorials and procurement of materials (Php 70,000.00)
4. Conduct of “Anti-illegal Drug” Information Education Campaign (Php 10,000)

5. Maintenance and other operating expenses (Php 20,000)

6. Conduct of Linggo ng Kabataan (Php 10,000)
7. Celebration of Gagayam Festival and cultural activities (Php 10,000)
8. Proper Waste Management Program (Php 15,000)
9. Beautification of the Barangay (Php 7,000)
 10. Monthly Clean Up Drive (Php 10,000)

RESOLVED, FURTHER, to attach this resolution allocating the 10% SK fund together with
other supporting documents of the FY 2019 SK Annual Budget to the Sangguniang Bayan for review
and approval.
