MUNICIPAL PEACE AND ORDER COUNCIL

RESOLUTION NO. 19-02

A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE PROPOSED LOGO OF THE


PEACE AND ORDER COUNCIL, DURING THE 3RD JOINT MPOC AND MADAC
MEETING ON SEPTEMBER 11, 2019

WHEREAS, DILG Memorandum Circular 2019-151 provides the Guidelines on the Usage of the
Peace and Order Council (POC) Logo of all POCs;

WHEREAS, there is a need to: (1) showcase the identity of the POC; (2) solidify its brand building
on trust from the citizens; (3) help foster unity among the different sub-national Councils; and (4)
continuously serve as a reminder that all policies and activities to be implemented must be aligned
with the mandate of the POC;

WHEREAS, an Advisory from the Interim National POC Secretariat dated April 12, 2019 was issued
notifying the subnational POCs of their respective POC Logos;

WHEREAS, non-compliance to the provisions of DILG Memorandum Circular 2019-151 shall be


dealt with in accordance with applicable laws and other pertinent issuances

WHEREFORE, on the motion of Hon. Jerwin Joji N. Cobico duly seconded by the body, it was

RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved that the logo of the POC shall be incorporated in all POC
materials including, but not limited to, formal documents and official correspondence, information
and education communication (IEC) materials and other collaterals such as t-shirts, vests, pins, etc.

RESOLVED FINALLY, to authorize the Secretariat, Department of the Interior and Local
Government – Uyugan, to transcribe this resolution and furnish copies to all authorities concerned
for their information.
