It is a pleasure to write a letter of recommendation for Sarah Eggleston.

I have had the opportunity to work with Sarah as her professor during her coursework
for her Theatre Arts Education degree here at SUU and to supervise her student
teaching experience.

Sarah is an amazing young woman. She is bright and thoughtful. She is also caring and
teachable.

While observing Sarah in classes I noted what an easy way she had with fellow
students. I noticed her skill in getting all members of the group involved, listening to
others, and adding insightful comments to the discussion. Peers are comfortable and
relaxed around and with Sarah.

In the high school theatre classroom, I observe an organized, prepared, and engaging
teacher reaching out to all students in an effort to involve and value them.

I believe Sarah is going to be an amazing teacher. Her dedication, strong work ethic,
compassion for others, and desire to make a difference in the lives of young people will
make for an excellent educator! As an ex-principal, I can, without reservation, share
that I’d be proud to have had her on my staff!
