COVID-19 also called coronavirus is now spreading around the world.
It all began in Wu-chan in December 2019. The wholesale market for seafood in the center of Wu-chan is considered to be the cause of the virus spread. However, it is not excluded that the virus has escaped from the Wu-chan laboratory investigating viruses. The first group of infected people showed signs of pneumonia without further symptoms. The virus can be transmitted from human to human. Its rate of spread peaked in mid-January 2020. The incubation period varies between 2 and 14 days and the disease is still infectious.
World situation
The first person infected with coronavirus died on 9 January 2020 in
China. The virus spread to 157 countries around the world on all continents except Antarctica, 272 042 people were infected, of which 11 299 patients died of the disease and 90 618 infected were cured. On 30 January 2020, the World Health Organization declared a global state of a health emergency. On 11 March 2020, the World Health Organization declared this coronavirus spread a pandemic. Situation in the Czech Republic
The Czech Republic has implemented several preventive measures
that are the most stringent in EU countries. There are now 904 infected people in the Czech Republic and 4 have recovered. There is a law that children do not go to school until April 14, but this date is likely to be extended. There is also a quarantine, it is not that we could not leave the house, but it will be discussed. I believe that the rules that are now are inadequate, but if the children's quarantine is prolonged that they cannot be able to go to school for a long time, I think that this semester should not be evaluated. I think that the approach of our government is really good if, for example, we compare it with Germany or England.
Situation in my house
I think that in our home nobody is stressed, but of course, we monitor
the situation and "follow the orders" of the government. I hope none of us will get infected and that we will stay healthy and calm as we are now.
