00This course aims to enhance students’ proficiency so that they will be able to cope with their academic and daily
activities. The course focuses on developing listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Grammar and vocabulary are
integrated in these language skills. Throughout the course various techniques and strategies are used to encourage active
participation from students thus making the lessons fun and meaningful.

Task 2: Daily Reflection (Writing Skill) 100 MARKS


My first ELA class: Today’s first class was great. Miss Lulu explained about how MSU’s
system works and what to do. Her hilarious humor gave a good mood to focus on what
she was saying. I think we’ll get along fine with everyone in our class. I’m glad to have
a crazy, funny and caring lecturer like Miss Lulu. <3

WHY I CHOSE MSU?


The reason why I chose MSU because I don’t have to chance to go out from Sabah
Kota Kinabalu study because my brother and sister left Sabah to west Malaysia work
and I’m alone with my parents. I have to stay here and take care both of them until my
father retire from his work.

new things, trying new things, learning, living, pushing yourself, changing yourself, changing your world. You're

My View: Wisdom comes from making mistakes, having the courage to face them, and
make adjustments moving forward based upon the knowledge aquired through those
experiences.
For me, this is an extremely special / unique matter… because what are friends for? We
choose friend because we can learn what they had learn in life . We all have to learn what is
life going on for future secure for our children and families. I know friends are important but
there is 2 two type of friend which is a normal friend and a trusted friend. Trusted friend is
whenever you need help in life they will be there no matter what.

My View: It’s because people will always take you for granted. Most likely that they
won’t remember what good things you do. But they will always remember the bad
things you do. So be careful when choosing friends. Also be careful to what you do to
other people because it may scar them forever.

One of My Choice of Songs & the Reasons why I chose the song is / are…
I like Billie Eilish. Her music is just dark enough, just edgy enough and just
different enough to appeal to the indie and alternative crowds, but is still similar
enough to mainstream pop for it to appeal to a wider audience as well.
Her lyrics also seem to resonate with a lot of people. I’m not big on her music
myself - I tried her latest album out a couple times before deciding it wasn’t for
me - but from what I’ve heard from fans of hers, her lyrics play a big part. And
from what I can tell, quickly skimming the lyrics from her latest album, she does
seem to express kind of a jaded, depressed persona…which is something I
think a lot of listeners (especially younger listeners) can relate to.
She also dresses quite differently from a typical music star, which makes her all
the more appealing to the alternative music crowd

My View: : I love evolutions. Whenever you fall down from something, you can always
find a way to get back up and try again. There’s no perfect human being in this world.
People will betray you, hurt you and even use you. But as soon as you learn from it,
you’ll be grateful it happened to you.

My Recommendation on Novel / Movie / Comic / Programme(s) & Comment(s):


Avengers. Sometimes, you have to sacrifice everything you love for a cause. Iron Man
joined back the team on the condition that he would be back alive and get to live with
his family. But in his final moments, he knew he had to keep aside his personal needs.
He had to put everything on the line and sacrifice himself, because he was the only one
in the position to set things right. Some victories come at a heavy cost, costs that no
one else may be able to pay for, and only you can. In that moment, you have to think
above your own self. You have to grow above your personal interests. Just like Peter
Parker said in Civil War "When you can do things that I can, and you don't do them, it
feels like it's all happening because of you."

happy in the future. Think how really precious is the time you have to spend, whether it's at work or with your

My View: Time is short and precious. Do the things you want to do and don’t hesitate.

For One Social Problem in Malaysia, I choose racism which I have obtained from myself,
the detail of the source as above. The problem is, Racism can be revealed through people’s
actions as well as their attitudes. It can also be reflected in systems and institutions. But
sometimes it may not be revealed at all. Not all racism is obvious. For example, someone
may look through a list of job applicants and decide not to interview people with certain
surnames.
Racism is more than just words, beliefs and actions. It includes all the barriers that prevent
people from enjoying dignity and equality because of their race.

‘Many people chase after money. They strongly believe money will solve everything!’:
Yes, many people are chasing after money because money can solve almost everything. You
can buy anything you want/like. It just makes our life a lot more easier. But of course, there’s
stuff that you can’t buy with money like love. But we can use this money for good things like
donating to charity and etc.

SENTENCE:

situation. She is super intelligent with such great grasp for programming. She does not get
emotional at petty things or be dramatic. She is very cool. She tries very hard to ensure all
her children get the best of things: may it be school, food or clothing. There is no
compromise when it comes to her children.
Another exemplary mum is Jacquelin S. Linggu. Such a marvelous classy lady with
tons of patience! She is very systematic and ensures her child, Isabel, is growing and
learning healthily. She will never let her child down – a promise is a promise – that is
something she feels strong about. She really communicates with her daughter and listens to
all the comments and suggestions put forward by her child.
Hm, how can I forget my own mums? I have two such special ladies: one being my
biological mother (my mummy) and the other being my foster mother (my mum). Mummy
(as far I can remember) was very gentle and yet stern; a strong believer of God; a great
teacher who loved education and knowledge whilst, mum is a very strong sophisticated
woman; independently active; quite popular among her peers of business people and
ministers.
There are various characteristics that make each one of the mothers stand out as
‘super moms’ or exemplary mothers. Yes, they are not perfect but, they are the most
fabulous beings among the human beings that I have known. They have committed their

Hypertension is a chronic medical condition in which the blood pressure in the arteries is
persistently elevated. Hyper tension is also sometimes called high blood pressure. High blood
pressure usually does not cause symptoms. Long term high blood pressure, however, is a major
